Im a 15 year old boy from Canada My mom and dad are huge John lennon fans and so are me and my brother. We will always remmeber the message he spread through his lyrics and guitar (but for some reason no one listens...I.E. the Bush family) anyways as long as we remmeber what he said and if we are the only ones listening to what's really going on out there right now maybe it's just us who can change it...

When I was 7 I descovered John Lennon. I started collecting all kinds of things of him. I saved and saved for years, all my free time was spent reading about his life and music. When I had my son I gave him the middle name Lennon. My son is now 6, almost 7, and suffers from autism. I wrote Yoko in august and told her all about my son, and why I named him after John. My son loves both their music, especially 'ask the dragon' and 'kiss kiss kiss' of Yoko's, and we were so happy that she wrote us back! She sent him a card 'a piece of sky' handwritten by yoko that said lets all meet in ten years and put the sky back together again 'to Dustin love, Yoko xxx'. That made his day, and proves what a wonderful person she really is.

I was 5 years old when the Beatles landed in my home NYC and my parents let my brother and I watched the first Ed Sullivan show and then the next and our parents couldn't fathom why thier 5 and 6 year old sons spent every penny the earned doing odd jobs to buy every 45 and album that the Beatles made. When the band broke up,I cried for a day so my brother saved up and bought a guitar and I bought a bass. We bought the Complete Beatles songbook and learned every song. We moved to Florida and learned every John Lennon song and played them while the world was changing. I was watching Monday Night football when Howard Cosell broke in and said John has been shot. I'ts 24 years later and I'm still crying. I am truly crippled inside. I listen to a 24/7 Beatles internet radio broadcast : beatlesarama.com 
I have an 18 year old son and have turned him on to John and the Beatles and he is sharing the message of All You Need is Love....but with the murderers in the White House again (father and/or son) they try to censor us everywhere. John Lennon made a very big impact on me and my life - I liked the way his mind worked - or better yet - the lyrics he chose for his songs.  I was 14 years old when the Beatles hit the USA and John was my favorite from day one. I must say I was distressed with the relationship with Yoko Ono - I wish I felt better towards her but I get bad vibes everytime I see her photo or hear her voice.  I also hope she never sings in public again - the voice is terrible - she may be a worthy artist but she definitely is no singer.

I think that this site is a site for everyone and has some great quotes. John Lennon was a hip guy and he really got it.
